Threshold Midwifery
Understanding for the Journey Ahead

Relieving Fear Through Education
Dying, like birth, is a natural process — but it rarely feels that way without guidance. Threshold Midwifery prepares your family for what's coming so that the final chapter unfolds with dignity, presence, and love rather than fear and confusion.
I coach family members on how to sit with someone who is dying, how to speak to a loved one who may no longer respond, and how to tend to their own grief along the way. A big part of that is simply helping families understand what they're witnessing. The physical changes that come with the dying process can be alarming if you don't know what to expect — but most of what feels frightening is actually the body doing exactly what it's meant to do. I walk families through what they're seeing in real time, normalizing each stage so that fear is replaced with understanding, and understanding makes space for presence.
If tension rises within the family around care decisions, I serve as a calm, neutral voice that gently redirects everyone back to what matters most — the person at the center of it all.
I am the translator between the clinical and the human — so your family can simply show up as family.
